There is no standardized reporting method for egg (oocyte) banks that sell vitrified (a method of quick freezing) donor oocytes to patients. Few banks offer live birth guarantees.

These companies offer some unique services and benefits to fertility patients.

Oocytes frozen at age 30 years have about a 15% live birth potential each. At age 36 this drops to about 10% per oocyte and by age 39 to 5% per oocyte.

The best marker of IVF success if the percentage chance that one or more live births will result from a single egg retrieval before exhausting all of the embryos created from that retrieval.
